What to Expect in Our Level 1 Classes

Level 1 boxing lessons for adults are structured, one-hour sessions that combine boxing fundamentals with strength and conditioning. Every class is challenging, but accessible, no matter your current fitness level.

What to bring: Comfortable workout clothes, water, and gloves or wraps. If you don’t have gear yet, we have loaners and can help you get equipped.

Warm-Up (10–15 minutes)

Classes start with movement-based warmups to raise your heart rate and activate key muscle groups. Expect jump rope, shadowboxing, footwork, and bodyweight exercises.

Skills Training (30–35 minutes)

This is where you’ll build your foundation in boxing. Sessions focus on:

  • Proper stance and balance
  • Basic punches: jab, cross, hook, and uppercut
  • Footwork, bag drills, and pad work
  • Combination punching and movement coordination
  • Partner work (non-contact) for timing and flow

Cooldown (10 minutes)

Each class ends with stretching, recovery drills, and core work to help you cool down and lock in progress.
